A Harvard grad student named Abdullah Akl has been outed as the speaker in a heated video from a pro-Palestine rally in New York City, where he shockingly pushed for ramped-up actions echoing the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks on Israel.

The ID came from an X post by Open Source Intel blasting him as a "terrorist simp" and saying he's egging on more terror in the U.S. It's sparked a firestorm, with folks demanding Harvard boot him and maybe even deport him.

The rally, put on by groups like Within Our Lifetime (WOL), happened on October 7, the two-year mark of the Hamas assault that killed over 1,200 in Israel and started the Gaza war. In the clip, with Hamas flags waving, Akl yells, "We didn’t do enough! Next time, we’ll come back stronger than on the first October 7th!"

This is straight-up incitement and backing for a U.S.-labeled terror group. Plus think about what he's calling for - burning innocent civilians alive, raping women and men, and mutilating parents in front of their children, and vice versa, not to mention kidnapping a 3 year old and multiple holocaust survivors.

f Akl, who's Egyptian-American, just wrapped up a Master's in Government at Harvard in May 2025 after getting his undergrad in Political Science from Long Island University Brooklyn. He's a key organizer for WOL, which critics call a extreme branch of Students for Justice in Palestine. He's also tied to MPower Change (started by Linda Sarsour) and is Advocacy Director at the Muslim American Society Islamic Center.

He's no stranger to "bold activism", including UN youth gigs. But his words have gotten him well deserved pushback: In April 2024, he chanted stuff like "Hit, hit Tel Aviv!" praising a Hamas spokesman. He's posted things calling Israel fake, Zionists hell-bound, and pushing for a "violent Intifada" while saying kids should learn to hate the "Zionist entity."

Watchdog groups like Canary Mission and StopAntisemitism have flagged him for spreading hate and glorifying terror.

Last August, he dodged a reporter while a buddy threatened them.

Big names like Bill Ackman, Rep. Nancy Mace, and others have shared the post, calling for probes, expulsion, and deportation if he's on a visa. Some link him to wider radical networks, like certain imams with alleged Muslim Brotherhood connections.

Harvard, already catching heat over antisemitism, hasn't commented yet.

If New York and the FBI accept this type of rhetoric on their streets, they can't come crying when people like this turn ot violence and innocents get hurt (or killed.)
