Joe Levin, writing for the Wshinton Free Beacon made a frightening revelation today - Murat Piker, an aerospace engineer with top-secret security clearance, worked at Boeing for over a decade on highly classified U.S. military projects, including Air Force One and the E-6B "doomsday plane" designed for nuclear war command, while his older brother Hasan served as a Democratic political surrogate.
Murat, 32, held positions on multiple sensitive military programs including the presidential aircraft VC-25B, the E-3 AWACS surveillance plane, the E-7 airborne early warning system, and the XLUUV Orca undersea Navy drone, his public LinkedIn profile shows. He departed Boeing earlier this year after spending more than a decade there.
His position at Boeing stands in stark contrast to his brother's political advocacy and inflammatory rhetoric. Hasan Piker, a left-wing Twitch personality, served as a campaign surrogate for Democratic candidates including Abdul El-Sayed and Francesca Hong during the 2026 midterm cycle. He has declared that "America deserved 9/11," praised Mao Zedong, and made repeated statements in support of Hamas and Hezbollah.
During an appearance on the podcast Pod Save America in April 2026, Hasan stated: "I'm a lesser evil voter and therefore I would vote for Hamas over Israel every single time." He has also called Ultra-Orthodox Jews "inbred" and expressed support for Hezbollah as "a form of militancy trying to incur penalties on the genocidal state of Israel." On another podcast, he named Hezbollah as his favorite flag.
The younger Piker frequently appeared on his brother's social media streams during his Boeing employment, at times discussing classified projects. In May 2023, the two livestreamed the launch of the ViaSat-3 F1 satellite that Murat told viewers he had spent years working on. Neither brother appears to have disclosed the nature of Murat's security clearance to Democratic campaigns associated with Hasan's political work.
"I hold a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA and possess active Security Clearances," Murat's LinkedIn profile states. A person familiar with his work history confirmed he held a "top secret" security clearance.
Murat's public profile indicates work on Air Force One's VC-25B program, though a source told the Free Beacon he was not officially assigned to that program and lacked appropriate clearance, despite claims made in an August 2026 Rolling Stone profile. The presidential aircraft program is under intense time pressure from the Trump administration and has reportedly drawn engineers from across Boeing's workforce.
The connection between Hasan's political activities and his brother's classified work has not previously been disclosed. Both brothers are from a wealthy Turkish-American family and attended Rutgers University for their undergraduate studies. Murat completed graduate work at UCLA before joining Boeing's Defense and Space division.
Boeing declined to discuss specifics of Murat's employment, stating: "As a matter of privacy and security, Boeing does not disclose information about the specific work statement of former employees."
