UNO 2.0

Iran Roasts President Trump | WATCH

It’s classic geopolitical trolling, funny on the surface, but part of the serious psychological and narrative battle happening alongside the real naval tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.

On May 3-4, 2026, President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated image on Truth Social showing himself holding a big stack of UNO Wild cards, with the caption:“I have all the cards.”

This was meant as a show of strength amid the Strait of Hormuz crisis, the launch (and quick pause) of “Project Freedom” (the U.S. plan to escort ships through the strait), and ongoing talks with Iran.

The Iranian Consulate in Hyderabad, India immediately clapped back with its own AI-generated image.

It shows a smiling Iranian military spokesman (styled after or representing the official from the IRGC’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters) holding just a few cards, specifically powerful +4 Draw cards and a Skip card, with the caption:“Yes, we have less ” (or variations like “We’re getting closer to saying Uno” in follow-up posts).

The UNO Roast Explained

In UNO, the goal is to get rid of all your cards first.

Trump’s “I have all the cards” means he’s actually losing badly (loaded hand). Iran’s “we have less” plus powerful action cards means they’re close to winning and can still hit you hard with skips and draw-fours.

It’s a clever, cheeky jab saying: “You may have more power on paper, but we’re winning the game anyway.”

Why This Consulate?

The Iranian Consulate in Hyderabad has become Iran’s go-to English-language meme account during this crisis. They’ve posted several AI videos and images mocking Trump (including one where he talks to empty chairs and gets a “Shut up” note). It’s low-cost digital diplomacy / information warfare that goes viral fast in India, the Middle East, and on X.

This specific UNO exchange blew up on May 4–5, right as Trump announced the pause on Project Freedom. Iran is using it to portray the pause as a U.S. retreat.
