Protect the People, Kill the Machine

Reza Pahlavi, the son of the last Shah of Iran, has called on President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu to continue striking the regime's "machine of oppression" while sparing civilian assets.

Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the last Shah of Iran, has issued a powerful public appeal to the leaders of the United States and Israel, urging them to maintain their military pressure on the Iranian regime. In a statement posted to social media, Pahlavi distinguished between the "Islamic Republic" and the nation of Iran itself, arguing that the country's civilian infrastructure belongs to the people and must be preserved for a future, free Iran. He called for the surgical destruction of the regime's "machine of oppression and terror" while protecting the essential assets that the Iranian people will need to rebuild their country once the current dictatorship falls.

A Vision for Liberation

Pahlavi’s message was a direct call for the total eradication of the current ruling system, which he claims is the only thing standing in the way of a prosperous future. "Iran is not an Islamic Republic," he wrote, emphasizing that the patriotic citizens of Iran are ready to make sacrifices for their liberation. He urged President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu to focus their fire on the military, intelligence, and security apparatuses that keep the population in fear, rather than the power plants or roads that serve the public.

The exiled heir to the throne believes that with the combined support of the United States and Israel, the "moment of Iran's liberation is near." His comments suggest that there is a significant segment of the Iranian population and the diaspora that views the current war not as an attack on their country, but as a necessary step toward removing a tyrannical regime. Pahlavi’s plea serves as a reminder to the Allied forces that the ultimate success of the war may depend on winning the hearts and minds of the Iranian people by proving that the target is the regime, not the nation.
