Saudi Arabia issued a sharp ultimatum to Iran on Thursday, warning that Iranian military strikes targeting Gulf and Arab nations will not bend the kingdom to submission, only prompt swift retaliation.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah delivered the warning at a regional foreign ministers' meeting in Riyadh, where Arab states condemned what they called Iran's deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure, including oil facilities, desalination plants, airports, and diplomatic missions. The strikes have come as part of the broader Middle East conflict now extending across multiple nations and borders.

"The Kingdom is not going to succumb to pressure, and on the contrary, this pressure will backfire," Prince Faisal said. "We have reserved the right to take military actions if deemed necessary."

The Saudi minister's remarks underscored a fundamental rupture in any possibility of dialogue. "What little trust there was before has completely been shattered," he said. "If Iran doesn't immediately cease its attacks, then nothing will be able to restore trust with it."

Prince Faisal warned that Saudi Arabia's patience, while demonstrated throughout recent weeks, has limits. "The patience we have shown is not limitless," he said. "Iran's escalation will be met with escalation, whether on the political level or others."

The statement came as Iran continues to target infrastructure across the region. Reports indicate that Saudi crude oil export facilities and refineries have been struck by aerial attacks, though sources say the damage remains minimal.
