Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares Bueno announced today (Thursday) that Spain intends to join South Africa's suit against Israel in the International Court of Justice in the Hague, according to N12 News. The suit accuses Israel of committing "genocide" in Gaza.

Spain had already officially recognized a state of Palestine last week. Foreign Minister Katz retaliated by denying the Spanish consulate in Jerusalem from serving anyone outside the Jerusalem area, including Judea and Samaria.
