Donald Trump, Iran, Assassination Attempts
Trump claims Iran tried to assassinate him: "Attempts didn’t work out"
Ex-President says he’s under heavier protection with rising tensions with Tehran.

Former President Donald Trump made a startling claim early Wednesday, alleging that Iran is actively attempting to assassinate him.
“Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire U.S. military is watching and waiting,” Trump, 78, wrote on Truth Social, just hours after Ryan Wesley Routh was charged with an attempted assassination on a golf course earlier this month.
According to Trump, Iran has already made moves to carry out these threats. “Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone,” he continued, highlighting the ongoing danger he perceives.
He added that his security detail has reached unprecedented levels, saying, “I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before.”
Trump also expressed gratitude to Congress for unanimously increasing Secret Service funding, noting the bipartisan effort: “Nice to see Republicans and Democrats get together on something. An attack on a former President is a Death Wish for the attacker!”
While Trump did not specify details about these alleged assassination attempts or whether they were connected to domestic threats, his claims have sparked fresh concerns about his safety and ongoing tensions with Iran.
