A memorial statue honoring slain pro-Israel conservative activist Charlie Kirk was vandalized with red paint in Phoenix, Arizona, just days after its installation. The statue, located outside the headquarters of Turning Point, the organization Kirk founded, was discovered covered in red paint, along with an adjacent commemorative plaque that was also defaced.
The eight-foot statue was unveiled last Thursday to mark one year since Kirk's death. Kirk was shot and killed during a Turning Point event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.
Phoenix police confirmed they received reports of the vandalism Sunday morning. Authorities have opened an investigation and are asking the public for any information that might help identify those responsible. No arrests have been reported at this time.
