In dramatic footage from Damascus, survivors emerge from Syria's infamous Saidnaya Prison, described by human rights groups as a "human slaughterhouse."

Military forces are racing to evacuate remaining prisoners from underground cells and bunkers following the regime's collapse.

The facility, known for systematic torture and mass executions, held thousands of political prisoners and dissidents.

Rescue operations are continuing now.
