The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has issued a new advisory reporting that a commercial vessel anchored 38 nautical miles northeast of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, has been boarded and taken by unauthorised personnel.
Sources indicate it has been boarded by IRGC operatives.
According to the report, the vessel’s Company Security Officer (CSO) confirmed the ship is now bound for Iranian territorial waters. UKMTO is actively investigating the incident.
