BREAKING: Cargo Ship on Fire Off UAE Coast – UKMTO Warns of Iranian Attacks
There are reports of two separate vessels on fire off the coast of the United Arab Emirates. The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has issued an urgent advisory to all commercial shipping, warning of an immediate threat from Iranian-linked attacks.

A cargo vessel is currently on fire off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, according to an urgent alert issued by the British military’s UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
Key Details:
Incident 1: A merchant ship reported a fire in the engine room approximately 36 nautical miles north of Dubai.
Incident 2: Another vessel reported fire 14 nautical miles west of Mina Saqr (Ras al-Khaimah area).
UKMTO has issued a strong warning to all vessels in the region to exercise extreme caution due to the heightened threat of Iranian attacks (drones, missiles, or fast-attack craft).
No casualties have been reported so far.

The incidents come just hours after a confirmed Iranian drone strike on the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone oil facility, which sparked a large fire earlier today.

UAE authorities and international maritime agencies are monitoring the situation closely.
Shipping companies have been advised to reroute vessels and maintain heightened security protocols in the Gulf and Strait of Hormuz.
