Expert Predicts U.S. Will Strike Iran Once Trump Exhausts Diplomacy

U.S. affairs expert Dr. Kobi Barda warns that current U.S.-Iran negotiations are "empty talk," predicting a spiral of military action once President Trump feels forces are ready. Meanwhile, Tehran vows to fight for its right to enrich uranium.

Dr. Kobi Barda, a specialist in American politics, provided a blunt assessment of the ongoing U.S.-Iran tensions during an interview with 103fm. According to Barda, the current diplomatic track is a stalling tactic rather than a solution.

Barda estimates that a U.S. strike will occur once President Trump concludes that negotiations have been fully exhausted and his military positioning is optimized. He predicts that there will be a "spiral" of activity, a cycle of targeted airstrikes followed by mass public unrest, repeating until the objective is met. He also labeled the current talks as "kalam fadi" (empty talk), suggesting that the strategic decision for confrontation may already be set.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic is prepared for war to defend its nuclear program.

Araghchi stated that Iran will never accept a total halt to enrichment, calling it a "national necessity" for health, agriculture, and future fuel needs. He claimed that while Iran is a "nation of diplomacy," it is also a "nation of war" that will respond in kind to any language of force used by the West.

In a significant disclosure, Araghchi revealed that unexploded ordnance remains at several Iranian nuclear sites following attacks earlier in June, highlighting the existing volatility of the situation.
