'If War Is Required, It Will Happen': US Ambassador's Iran Ultimatum
Speaking in Jerusalem, Huckabee calls Iran a global danger and backs peace efforts but prepares for the worst.

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee addressed the annual Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations in Jerusalem, delivering a firm message on Iran and emphasizing complete coordination between Washington and Jerusalem. Huckabee described recent developments following his time in Washington during President Donald Trump's meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He stated, "I was in Washington last week for the meetings President Trump held with Prime Minister Netanyahu. I tell you, the United States and Israel are completely coordinated on Iran. We are true allies on dealing with the nuclear program and the ballistic missile array." Huckabee framed Iran as a worldwide threat, saying, "Iran is not just the problem of the United States and Israel, it is the problem of the world. Its goal is to destroy the United States and what it represents. If a regime has been telling you for so many years that it wants to destroy you, then maybe it's worth listening to them and taking their threats seriously."
On the upcoming talks in Geneva, he expressed uncertainty about success in removing the nuclear weapon threat, ballistic missiles, and terror funding. Huckabee added, "I am a person who believes in peace and will do a lot to achieve it. But if for the future of all of us war is needed, then that is what will happen." His remarks underscored a dual track of diplomacy backed by credible military readiness, reflecting the administration's approach to Tehran's long-standing hostility.
