Unprecedented
Israel Shocks the World - Claims: "Australia's Hands Are Stained with Blood"
In a scathing diplomatic assault, Israeli officials claim the Australian government "sacrificed the Jews" to buy political quiet, asserting that Canberra’s refusal to act led directly to the terror at the Hanukkah celebration.

In an unprecedented diplomatic assault following the Sydney terror attack, Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs has accused the Australian government of adopting a policy of "appeasement" that directly enabled the slaughter of Jews.
"The blood of the murdered is on the hands of the Australian government."
With these searing words, the State of Israel has effectively laid the blame for the massacre at a Chabad "Hanukkah by the Sea" celebration at the feet of Australian leadership.
In a statement released shortly after the attack, the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism alleged that Canberra’s refusal to act against rising hatred paved the way for the violence.
"Since October 7, instead of standing sharply and clearly beside the State of Israel... the Australian government chose a policy of weakening, laxity, and appeasement," the Ministry stated. "The Australian government has done everything in its power to ensure that Australian Jews cannot live in security... There are those who believe, in a dangerous error, that it is possible to 'sacrifice the Jews' to buy quiet. The blood of the murdered is on their hands."
According to the Ministry, this foreign policy failure has had direct domestic consequences: "That same reckless policy projects directly inwards, into Australia itself. The Australian government has done everything in its power to ensure that Australian Jews cannot live in security, quiet, and peace as Jews in their own country."
Ignored Warnings
The Ministry noted that all data and intelligence reports pointed to Australia becoming a hotbed for anti-Jewish hate, recording one of the sharpest rises in antisemitic incidents in the Western world since the start of the war.
"All inquiries, warnings, and attempts to work with the authorities were met time and again with a brick wall," the Ministry charged. "While the government continues a policy of appeasement toward Jihadist elements and movements driven by hate... there are those who believe, in a dangerous error, that it is possible to 'sacrifice the Jews,' appease the Jihadists, turn a blind eye to incitement, and thereby buy quiet."
The statement concluded with a grim historical lesson: "History teaches otherwise. Whoever appeases the enemies of Western civilization does not save themselves, but only brings the next disaster closer."
Herzog: "We Warned Them Again and Again"
Backing the Ministry’s stance, Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who received news of the massacre during a state ceremony, stated that Israel had provided repeated intelligence regarding the threat. "We warned the Australian government again and again about the need to uproot the criminal spreading antisemitism in Australia," Herzog said.
The attack comes amid a report by the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, which documented a record-breaking 1,654 antisemitic incidents in the country over the past year, including arson attacks on synagogues and Jewish kindergartens, threats that culminated in today's massacre.
