Son Treated for Physical and Psychological Trauma

Medical personnel at Ziv Medical Center described the harrowing circumstances surrounding the younger victim's treatment. The 19-year-old resident of Shfar'am arrived at the trauma unit suffering from minor shrapnel injuries but experiencing severe anxiety and acute psychological distress following the death of his father before his eyes.

"Upon arrival, he was brought to the trauma room where he received treatment from a multidisciplinary team," hospital officials noted in a statement. "His physical condition was classified as light, however he suffered from anxiety symptoms and acute mental distress following the incident. The hospital's social services department accompanied the wounded individual and his family members, providing them with support and assistance."

After receiving medical care and stabilization, the young man was discharged to his home. The family, residents of the northern Arab-Israeli town of Shfar'am, now faces the dual burden of mourning and recovery.

Separate Drone Attack Wounds Two IDF Soldiers

In a related incident disclosed Tuesday morning, the IDF confirmed that two soldiers were wounded Monday during operational activities in southern Lebanon when an explosive drone detonated near their position. One soldier sustained critical injuries while a second was lightly wounded. Both were evacuated to medical facilities and their families have been notified.

"The soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital and their families have been updated," the IDF spokesperson clarified. "This constitutes a violation of the ceasefire understandings by the Hezbollah terror organization."
