IDF Announces Complete  Encirclement of Khan Yunis

The IDF announced that the fighters had completed the encirclement of Khan Yunis city in the last 24 hours. During the fighting, many terrorists were captured, including armed squads with RPG missiles.

The IDF announced on Tuesday that overnight, the encirclement of Khan Yunis was completed, and many terrorists were neutralized in the last 24 hours.

According to the IDF spokesperson, Brigade 98 conducted a wide-ranging operation in Khan Yunis in the past 24 hours. The combat teams of the Paratroopers Brigade, Givati Brigade, and Division 7 completed the encirclement of Khan Yunis, while the commando units intensified the attack in the heart of the area - serving as the central command for the Khan Yunis Division in the Hamas terrorist organization.

Furthermore, the IDF emphasizes that the forces eliminated many terrorists in face-to-face battles, with the assistance of air force strikes and the closure of fire circles, all carried out with deliberate and strategic intent.

According to the military, in various encounters, heavily armed terrorists with RPG missiles were eliminated at a distance of tens of meters from the forces.

Additionally, terrorists who launched anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and others who were engaged in laying ambushes along routes and structures were neutralized. The forces also uncovered rockets ready for launch, combat facilities, tunnels, and various combat equipment during their operations.
