9-Year-Old Jewish Girl is Seriously Injured by Rock Thrown at Teaneck School Bus
Third grader from Teaneck rushed to hospital with head injuries after baseball-sized rock shattered bus windshield, police investigating link to nearby anti-Israel protest

A shocking incident is shaking the Jewish community in the US after a 9-year-old girl was seriously injured in the head by a rock thrown at her school bus in New Jersey. The incident occurred in the city of Teaneck as two Jewish school buses were making their way back from a class trip.
According to reports, a massive rock the size of a baseball was hurled with force at the bus traveling on the highway, shattering the windshield and striking the girl directly in the head. Emergency responders rushed the student to a local hospital suffering from trauma to the skull.
The central suspicion currently being investigated by the Teaneck Police and the District Attorney's office is that this was a hate crime motivated by antisemitism.
A turbulent pro-Palestinian demonstration was taking place near the scene at the time, and authorities are investigating whether one of the demonstrators is responsible for the act.
As authorities search for answers and suspects, the Jewish community in Teaneck once again finds itself on the front lines of the dangerous struggle against rising antisemitism in the United States.
