The Health Ministry is warning the public not to consume bottled water sold under the brands HAYAT and Hermon after inspectors discovered the products were manufactured and distributed in violation of the law.
Ta'amim Kol Hazman Ltd, the company that bottles both brands, announced it is pulling the products from store shelves. According to the company's statement, a Food Service inspection by the Health Ministry found that the drinking water was produced and marketed illegally, and that its safety cannot be verified.
The recall covers HAYAT brand drinking water in 200 ml bottles with barcode 7290114251549. All bottles with a production date up to and including September 2, 2026, marked "PRD" on the bottle, are included, as well as all bottles with a "best before" date up to and including September 1, 2027, marked "EXD."
