Trump’s a Genius, Netanyahu’s a Loser: Can Israel Be Saved?

Trump Masterminds Global Politics, Netanyahu Clings to Political Survival – The Jews are Paying the Price

Trump delivers his speeches with unwavering force. Yet, when threatening Hamas, it seems he is doing so without fully grasping the reality of Israeli society and leadership: he believes he is addressing Hamas with the backing of a determined nation and a resolute leader who will not flinch at the painful costs required to subdue the enemy. In reality, however, the Israeli public and its prime minister operate under immense nervous tension and refuse to pay strategic prices for an extensive military operation that would secure the country’s future—if it means risking the lives of 30 hostages.

Trump may be seen as a Messiah by many Israelis, but even God does not help those who do not help themselves—let alone the Messiah. Despite this, Trump is beginning to fully understand Netanyahu’s weakness—a leader who does not lead but is dragged along by an obsessive need to read and manipulate public opinion polls, a tactic he has used since his political career began in the 1980s. His deep baritone voice projects strength, but behind it lies a leader incapable of making tough decisions.

As Netanyahu’s own advisors have told me time and time again over the last decade—Netanyahu is mentally and emotionally incapable of making difficult choices. As a result, the president has no choice but to issue empty threats because Israel is actually struggling to sustain a prolonged military campaign, shackled by a leader who prioritizes short-term political survival over long-term security. Thus, Netanyahu, enslaved by the polls, favors the stagnation, and a very slow release of hostages over achieving military victory or relocating Gazans.

The bottom line? Hamas is lucky to have Israel as its enemy and not Trump - nothing Trump can say will bring Netanyahu closer to winning this war, because winning this war will be the end of his career and the start of October 7th trials. In that sense, Bibi and Donald have opposing interests.

The Israeli public mirrors Netanyahu—it to chooses short-term survival over the sacrifices needed for long-term security and prosperity, but unlike Bibi they are honest about surrender and are not trying to prolong the fake war for political reasons.

Anyone who doesn’t understand that Netanyahu and the families of the hostages want exactly the same thing… Doesn’t understand that the only difference is the pace… For him, maybe in a couple of months… maybe in a couple of years… For them, now.

Meanwhile Netanyahu himself is sidelined from key decisions on Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and even Gaza. He, like the Israeli media, only receives selective scraps of information regarding the real events.

A Symptom of a Deeper Crisis

As global leaders engage in high-stakes strategic maneuvers, Netanyahu has become as relevant to Middle Eastern power dynamics as King Abdullah of Jordan—a figurehead, present but powerless. He drifts like a servant in his own kingdom, reacting to events instead of shaping them, watching as major geopolitical shifts occur without his input. Instead of leading, he follows— while Israel’s position on the world stage deteriorates.

Netanyahu remains 95% focused on political survival, Israel is just the marketing prop. In practice, Israel is losing its grip on the international arena. While Netanyahu tries to portray himself as a “diplomat of another league,” he remains a marginal figure in the global power structure.

As the political ground shakes beneath him, he resorts to his usual tactic—playing victim. The latest ploy? Attacking the Attorney General. Not because she is perfect (she, like much of the judicial elite, is corrupt), but because this doomed-to-fail battle is a convenient distraction. It buys a few more months, shifts public attention away from real crises, and rallies his ignorant fake-right wing base.

Netanyahu knows exactly how to speak to an audience that feels persecuted—an audience largely composed of immigrants from Islamic countries who thrive on victimhood narratives, using them to define their identity against the so-called “Deep State” and the old Mapai elite. Besides the fact the he himself build, nurtured and created that deep-state (just like he build Hamas for 15 years), until it (like Hamas) turned against him, the real issue is that instead of leading Israel with strategic vision, Netanyahu manipulates his supporters with carefully crafted grievances, ensuring that they see him as a fellow underdog rather than an accountable leader.

The problem with this endless cycle of political games (in which Netanyahu has been a state-paid employee for 45 years) is that it comes at a time when Israel is missing historic opportunities. Just a month ago, Israel was seriously discussing the relocation of Gazans. Now, Trump’s people are sitting in Qatar negotiating with Hamas.

Given the cards in Israel's hand, one cannot doubt that Netanyahu is a loser, incapable of navigating the global stage or securing gains. His supporters defend him, saying, “But he speaks so well!”—as if eloquence is a substitute for leadership. Like Netanyahu himself, they prefer enduring humiliation over taking decisive action. Despite repeated calls from Trump to lead and take bold action, Netanyahu shrank from the moment. While Trump operates on a global scale, Netanyahu wasted the opportunity, prioritizing internal political survival over Israel’s long-term security.

The conclusion is clear: Netanyahu has had multiple chances to assert Israel’s position on the world stage, yet he has chosen political maneuvering over decisive leadership. He rather talk to the UN than do anything - otherwise, how can he complain and pretend to be a victim?.

To truly understand Netanyahu’s mindset, one must enter an extremely twisted way of thinking—something his former advisor Moshe Kloghoft described perfectly this week:

"If it were up to Bibi," he said, "he would turn back the clock, ensure Kamala Harris is elected, then visit the White House, hold a meeting like the one with Obama—scolding her, arguing, explaining Jewish history—receive negative responses on everything: no weapons, no armaments, no approval to eliminate Hamas, continued boycotts of various Israeli organizations. Then he'd return to Israel and say, 'I fought against the president, stood firm,' and head to elections.

Instead, he's stuck with Trump, who tells him, 'Brother, win; what do you want? I'm with you.' As they say—be careful what you wish for; you might just get it."

This twisted, morbid, sick mentality is steering Israel toward peril, yet it remains the country’s best-kept secret.

It hides behind Jewish donors, fake conservative rhetoric, false victimhood, and Netanyahu’s authoritative speeches and good looking CV.

It uses Israel's demographic situation, American Jews ignorance of the "inside baseball" of Israeli politics, and even Antisemetism to its advantage.

Exposing this facade behined a paranoid, paralyzed, and weak man is a patriotic duty for every Israeli and every American ally who values our shared future.

Exposing the truth about the unavoidable comparison between the heroic Trump and this pathetic coward is just one step toward ensuring that future.

While Trump engages in high-stakes diplomacy, Netanyahu remains fixated on domestic distractions, allowing Israel to lose ground strategically and miss historic opportunities.

Non Jews may be reading this too - so I will end with a final word to my people: Fellow Jews, Israel's refusal to achieve victory reflects Bibi's reluctance to end the protracted "war" in which we have been, and still are humiliated by Hamas.

Perhaps there's a reason 80% of American Jews are Democrats? and Israel is losing to a lame Terror organization it helped build in the middle-east?.

Perhaps harboring a ghetto-like mentality, a secret death-wish, is an affliction we all share? be it in NY or Jerusalem? Something to think about.

Happy Purim.
