IDF Spokesperson announced that at 4:00 PM, an RPG missile was fired towards a tank securing a force operating 600 meters near the border. Simultaneously, there was an explosion in two-story buildings that collapsed while the force was inside and nearby.

A fire broke out in the Kissufim Forest near the Gaza border, most likely as a result of an incendiary balloon launched from the Gaza Strip. The last known incident of incendiary balloons was in 2021.
