After hours of escalation along the northern border, Lebanon estimates that a full-scale war between Israel and Hezbollah is an unavoidable development that could break out within hours.

IDF forces carried out a series of strikes in southern Lebanon, targeting and destroying Hezbollah weapons storage facilities, a launcher, and a military structure.

Lebanese politicians and activists are sharply criticizing Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, accusing him of destroying Lebanon: "Leave southern Lebanon alone."

The New York Times reported today that Israel and Hezbollah are engaged in negotiations with each other, aimed at calming tensions, preventing war in the north, and returning residents - both in North Israel and in southern Lebanon - to their homes.

Breaking news reveals that yet another high ranking official in the Hezbollah terror group has been targeted in an Israeli airstrike in South Lebanon.

Targeted elimination? Arab media channels are alleging that Israel is behind a UAV strike on a vehicle in southern Lebanon. Four individuals have been reported killed and several others wounded. 

This morning, the IDF targeted military sites of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the southern part of Lebanon, in the areas of the villages of Zibqin and  Houla. This action is in addition to artillery fire aimed at eliminating a threat to Israel.

Fadi Suleiman, Commander of Hezbollah's Central Sector, survived an assassination attempt in southern Lebanon. He is considered one of the prominent commanders responsible for the region where tensions between Hezbollah and Israel escalate.

The northern front heats up again. An Aircraft fired a missile at a vehicle traveling in Kafra, Lebanon - Several kilometers north of the northern border at the Shtula area. The identity of the target has not yet been clarified.

Air Force fighter jets attacked Hezbollah terrorist infrastructures in the Lebanon area. Observation posts were bombarded in the Khiam area.

According to foreign reports, the IDF killed Jawad al-Tawil, a senior commander in Hezbollah's Redwan force in southern Lebanon, in a targeted strike.

The IDF completed an extensive wave of attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanese territory, when a terrorist squad that tried to launch anti-tank missiles at Israel was attacked. Two fighters were moderately injured and several others were slightly injured.
