National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has written a letter to the Prime Minister demanding that the Cabinet meeting today discuss advancing legislation for the death penalty for terrorists. He stated: "The answer to the execution of our hostages by Hamas terrorists requires a very painful Israeli response."

After delivering a speech in the Turkish parliament and stating that he has decided "to travel with all members of the Palestinian leadership to the Gaza Strip," Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) has made an unusual request to Israel.

Israel's' National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi stated in his plans, "Gaza needs an alternative governance model supported by moderate Arab states and international allies."

In an article for the London-based Saudi paper Elaph, National Security Council Director Hanegbi opened the door to PA involvement in Gaza once the war ends, if it undergoes "fundamental transformation." 

During the cabinet meeting, many ministers opposed the possibility of Palestinian laborers entering to work in Israeli territory. Minister Ben-Gvir: "I'm not saying that everyone comes to murder, but everyone is exposed to incitement."

Responding to criticisms of the government's decision to allow fuel into the Strip, NSC Head Tzachi Hanegbi says it's necessary to maintain sewage systems and prevent disease.

Hanegbi made this statement in a press release addressing the war.

Bennet: "Those who don't distinguish between enemy and friend cannot destroy the enemy. Confusion does not lead to victory."

NSC Head Tzachi Hanegbi had praised the country for its efforts to free the captives held in Gaza.

The NSC Chief held a press conference, explaining the diplomatic efforts and American aid.
