The video accumulated over 5.5 million views and hundreds of thousands of comments. Faced with the backlash, Rodríguez removed the Hebrew caption and left only a heart emoji.
This isn't her first encounter with Israel-related social media controversy. Earlier, she posted imagery from Gaza, which some users read as solidarity with Palestinians. When criticism followed, she posted a photo showing both an Israeli child and a Palestinian child with a call for peace between both sides.
