Dramatic moments were captured on camera in the city of Bozhou, China, when a young child climbed into a car his mother had left running and began driving it toward a main road, as his mother watched in panic.
The footage shows the mother running after the moving vehicle in an attempt to prevent disaster. After a brief chase, she managed to open the car door and bring it to a stop before any harm came to pedestrians or other vehicles on the road.
Fortunately, the incident ended without injuries. Following the event, a warning was circulated on Chinese social media urging parents to ensure they turn off their vehicles and remove the keys before leaving them unattended, even for a short time.
