Killing Your Jewish Father: The Psycho-Theology of the New Anti-Zionist Alliance
An Essay on the Roots of Traditionalist-Catholic Hatred for Israel

On a superficial level, the American and Western political landscape appears chaotic.
How is it that key figures in the "New Right," those identified with Traditional Catholicism or parallel conservative streams (such as Nick Fuentes, Candace Owens, and their ilk), are adopting such venomous rhetoric toward the State of Israel? How has the "Conservative" Right transformed into an echo chamber for progressive and Islamist propaganda?
To understand this, we must dive beneath the politics, into the depths of political theology and the psychopathology of institutions that have lost their power.
The central thesis presented here is sharp: The Catholic Church, and its ideological successors (even those in secular guise), are essentially the historical substitute for the Kingdom of Israel.
The moment the original, Israel in the flesh, resurrected, the substitute entered an existential crisis. The war on Israel is not about territory, but about the legitimacy of the Son (Christianity) to inherit the Father (Judaism) while the Father is still alive.
I. The Kingdom of Israel and the Church: A Dynamic of Replacement and Castration
For two thousand years, Catholic theology rested on the foundation of Supersessionism (Replacement Theology).
The Church did not view itself merely as a new religion, but as Verus Israel (the True Israel).
For this claim to hold water, the original Israel had to be humiliated, devoid of sovereignty, and stripped of power. The exiled Jew was the ultimate proof of the Church's righteousness.
The establishment of the State of Israel and the return of the Jews to history as a sovereign, military, and political force thus turned into a traumatic event for this consciousness. It undermined the cosmic order.
The current attempt by the New Catholic Right to attack Zionism is, in effect, a psychoanalytic attempt by the "Son" (the Church) to castrate the "Father" (the Jew) who has returned to reclaim his place as the head of the family, in order to prevent him from ruling again.
While the belief that the Jewish Father can be replaced is shared by both Christianity and Islam, Islam operates from direct tribal rage. Christianity, however, operates from a complex psychological mechanism of projection and conspiracy.
Indeed, the severe blow the Church received from the Reformation was essentially the realization of the prophecy of Joachim of Fiore. Fiore prophesied that a day would come when the Church would lose its power, and a new Christian religion would arise. Consequently, the Catholic Church came to view the Protestant Church as irrelevant, precisely the way the Catholic Church viewed Judaism. And lo and behold, Protestants, not infrequently, and particularly the Calvinists, often preferred to share a conceptual foundation specifically with the Jews.
Now, the Church faces a double loss. Not only was the monopoly on Christianity lost in the 17th century, but in the 20th century, the Catholic monopoly on Replacement Theology was lost as well. Meaning, the Church found itself in the position of a Father being rebelled against (just as Judaism was during the Exile), while simultaneously, that very Judaism against which the Church rebelled stood up and snatched its independence from Britain and its Muslim friends.
II. The Conspiratorial Essence of Catholic Thought
One of the deepest points for understanding the current hatred is identifying the conspiratorial element embedded in the DNA of the ecclesiastical institution itself. The Catholic Church is not merely a faith institution; it is a demand for totality based on a "Divine Plan", the idea that all human salvation, all truth, and all morality pass exclusively through one hierarchical conduit: Jesus and the Church.
An organization that claims exclusive ownership of the Truth must, by its very nature, operate conspiratorially:
The Jew, by his very existence and refusal to accept the Gospel, is the ultimate "Conspirator."
He is the crack in the Totalitarian Wall. Hence flows the inevitable conclusion of the Catholic consciousness: If the Jew has not surrendered to our Truth, he must be employing a hidden manipulation to survive.
Catholic thought, accustomed to operating in the shadows and corridors of power, projects its own modus operandi onto the Jews.
From here, Catholics like Owens and Fuentes work to convince the younger generation of this same spirit.
If the vision of a "Great America" is not currently materializing, it stems not from the fact that it is a Classical-Liberal vision (what does that have to do with Catholic dogma?), but because the Jews ruined it. They allegedly performed a manipulation to survive and corrupted America for their own desires.
That is, the Jew purportedly exploits organizations to strengthen himself, and inevitably, by doing so, sucks the lifeblood from them. Then, when he no longer needs the host, having already corrupted it, he strengthens himself at its expense and moves on to the next organization.
Note carefully: Everything described here is actually a description of an organism that operates within a broad system and shows high survival signs, it is a description of the Church itself.
Protestantism investigates to discern its proximity to the Divine. Catholicism employs self-examination to verify that the level of submission is sufficient to accept the judgment of the external Other. Catholicism converts sin into a Social Panopticon. Protestantism transforms sin into guilt over the absence of Truth, driving a relentless search for discovery akin to the Jewish tradition.
III. From the Anti-Semitism of Power to the Anti-Semitism of Weakness
A sharp distinction must be made between the anti-Semitism of the Middle Ages and that of today:
Ultra Traditional Catholics (like Fuentes and Owens) look at the world and see their defeat. Instead of admitting that the ideas were rejected or failed, they require the Jew to explain it. Because the Jew is the element from which power comes and passes to a new level of purification within the framework of Replacement Theology, only a return to the "impure element" can explain the loss of power.
Because Catholicism operates within this binary, the claim is: "We are not truly weak; the Jews stole our power."
This is the same ecumenical zero-sum game seen in the great messianic ideologies of the 20th century.
Accusing Jews of importing "moral corruption" (liberalism, capitalism, feminism, Protestantism) that crumbled the Church from within is not just a mechanism for losers seeking an external culprit for the collapse of their fantasy. It is a systemic default setting visible in Catholic aesthetics and theology from the 2nd century AD systematically until today regarding the Jewish Question as the antithetical axis to the believer's experience, an axis capable of explaining the Church's state in the world, which is, of course, the guarantee for the believer's state.
IV. Projecting the Fantasy of Lost Power: "Genocide" as Wish Fulfillment
The current accusations by the Catholic Right against Israel, that it is "fascist," "genocidal," or "too aggressive", are a classic case of psychological Projection.
Catholics no longer have a state. The Church has no armored divisions. Political impotence frustrates them to the depths of their souls. Conversely, they look at the Jews, those who were supposed to be humiliated, holding exactly the power they dream of: an ethno-religious nation-state with a sword in its hand. The outcry against "Jewish Power" is a cry of heart-wrenching jealousy. The maximum they can do is claim that in a cunning way, "The Little Jewish Church" (Zionism) controls the US and the world. Thus, they project their bizarre fantasy of control, that same medieval fantasy of global Church domination, precisely onto the Jews, in whom the reflection of their own completely lost power is revealed.
V. The Secularization of Catholicism: Marxism and Nazism as Reincarnation
This analysis also explains a broader phenomenon: The totalitarian ideologies of the 20th century, Marxism and Nazism, are effectively "Secularized Catholicism." Like the Church, they are ecumenical, eschatological (messianic), hierarchical, class-based, obsessed with totality, with purity of blood, with purity of ideas, and with strange rituals of guily in public and personal spaces.
They inherited from the Church the mystical-Gnostic moment, the conspiratorial structure, and of course, the anti-Semitism searching for the "Hidden Jewish Spirit" as the enemy of Holism.
Marxism saw in Judaism the sins of the Capitalist spirit, and Nazism saw in it the sin of blood corruption. Common to all is the fundamentally conspiratorial thought: The belief that there is some hidden force (Kabbalah, Capital, Media) preventing complete Redemption (the Workers' Revolution or the Reich's Rule), and that force is the Jew.
Ironically or not, consciously or not, the strange longing of many of these younger Ultra Traditional Catholics for Hitler and Stalin is a function of a longing for Christian Orthodoxy and Catholic Christianity before these went completely mad in the secular age and became Secularized Catholicism, which is essentially the worst of all worlds combined, emerging after World War I, through which the US gave Europe and Russia ropes to hang themselves.
VI. The Alliance with Islam and the Protestant Exception
Here we find the surprising meeting point between the Church and Islam.
Although Islam operates more from tribal hatred and less from a theological inferiority complex (the Muslim will never admit inferiority, only anger that the "Dhimmi" raised his head), the result is the same: A refusal to accept the Jewish Father as sovereign.
The Catholic and the Muslim find themselves less worried about each other and more worried about the Jews. Why? Because the conflict between them is "within the family" of religions that inherited the Truth; the Sovereign Jew is the Absolute Other who undermines the inheritance itself. In contrast, Protestantism (especially in its American-Evangelical version) is capable of containing Israel. Why? Because it was created out of breaking the Church hierarchy. The Protestant does not compete with Israel for the title of "The Total Replacement Church." He recognizes the Bible literally, and thus can see the Return to Zion as a fulfillment of prophecy rather than a political-theological threat to his status.
This is perhaps the place to speak of Joachim of Fiore again. The man who promised as early as the 12th century how the world would enter a number of ages, at the end of which would be the Final Age where we would not need a Church at all, and there would be a Christian religion based on absolute freedom. The man who influenced Hegel to a great extent.
In the theology of Fiore, like that of Augustine and like that of Hegel, there is no place for Jews as a separate and independent entity.
As the largely Protestant modernity (capitalist, liberal, industrial) shapes the world, the theological repression expressed by Fiore, Augustine, and Hegel will continue to identify the post-ecclesiastical movement, or the absence of the political/historical/theological Utopia, with seemingly the Jews. al this rather than claiming their own visions are twisted.
The current attack on Israel by figures like Carlson, Fuentes, and others is not political criticism. It is the eruption of ancient historical pus. It is the rage of the Son who discovered that his Father, whom he thought dead or castrated, has returned home, strong, armed, and sovereign. As long as the Church (and Islam) do not resolve their Oedipal complex vis-à-vis Judaism, they will continue to view Jewish power as a conspiracy, and Israel as an anomaly that must be corrected.
