Sermon on the bus
Bus driver in Brooklyn reportedly delivers antisemitic sermon to trapped students
“It was terrifying,” say parents after driver’s rant blamed Jews for crucifixion.

A school bus ride to Brooklyn Prospect International Elementary Charter School took a disturbing turn when the driver allegedly pulled over mid-route and delivered an unsolicited religious lecture that included antisemitic remarks, leaving one Jewish student in tears, according to parents.
The unidentified driver, who has since been suspended, reportedly veered off course and held the students on the bus while delivering a diatribe centered on his Christian beliefs. “The only one who can deliver you isn’t religion, it’s Jesus,” the driver allegedly told the confused elementary-aged children, a parent told The Post.
When one student asked if Jesus was Jewish, the driver reportedly responded with a centuries-old and widely discredited claim that Jews were responsible for Jesus’ death, a narrative condemned by the Vatican and labeled antisemitic by leading organizations like the Anti-Defamation League.
“Yes, he was a Jew and basically Jews, his own kind, killed him,” the driver allegedly said, adding: “They basically killed him because he said he was the son of God… These were religious leaders who killed him.”
Some students texted their parents from the bus as the unsettling sermon unfolded. One Jewish child was so distressed by the speech that they broke down in tears, a parent reported.
In another shocking moment, the driver allegedly handed out white hats inscribed with the phrase “I Am With You Always” and a black cross, while asking the children to recite a prayer.
Beyond the content of the remarks, parents were also outraged that their children were made late to school, arriving nearly 30 minutes behind schedule. “What pissed me off is the kids were late to school,” one parent said. “The driver definitely held the kids captive.”
The school and bus company have not yet issued a public statement, but sources confirm the driver has been removed from duty pending further investigation.
