"Together as One": Millions of Children to Join Global Chabad Lag Ba'Omer Parades
Following the Lubavitcher Rebbe's directive, Chabad centers worldwide are preparing for massive street rallies aimed at unity, prayer, and hastening the Redemption.

On the festive day of Lag Ba'Omer , hundreds of thousands of Jewish children and their families across Israel and around the globe are preparing to take to the streets. These "Great Parades," a cornerstone of Chabad-Lubavitch outreach initiated by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, transform public squares into displays of Jewish pride and unity.
The initiative is built on the Rebbe’s call for every Jewish child to participate in a special procession on this day. The parades emphasize the spiritual power of Lag Ba'Omer, the Yom Hillula (anniversary of passing) of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. According to Jewish tradition, this day is particularly auspicious for salvation and the answering of prayers, echoing the famous Talmudic phrase: "Rabbi Shimon is worthy to be relied upon in a time of distress."
In Israel, the events are being organized under the central theme: "Together, All the Children of Israel" (Yachad Kol Yaldei Yisrael). Organizers stress that the goal of these gatherings is to foster unconditional love and unity among the Jewish people, which is believed to be the ultimate catalyst for bringing the Moshiach and the final Redemption.
From major cities like New York and Paris to small villages across Israel, the parades will feature marching bands, educational floats, and children reciting verses of Torah. Chabad.org and local branches have already begun detailed preparations, inviting parents to join their children in what has become the world’s largest simultaneous demonstration of Jewish education and togetherness.
