Kiddush Hashem
Chabad hassid gives homeless man the shirt off his back, literally | WATCH
In a moving act of kindness, a Chabad follower hands over his shirt on a cold NYC street.

In a powerful act of chesed (kindness), a Chabad Hassid in New York City was filmed giving the shirt off his own back, literally, to a homeless man sitting shirtless on the sidewalk. The moment, captured by the man’s wife, has since gone viral.
In the video, the woman behind the camera can be heard saying that her husband had just told her, “I’m going to give him my shirt.” Moments later, the Chabadnik approaches the shivering man, gently speaks with him, and begins to remove his own white button-down shirt. With tenderness and care, he helps the homeless man put it on. He even helps the homeless man button up the shirt.
This is what is know as Kiddush Hashem, sanctifying Hashem's name, showing the beauty and power of the Torah and his people, Am Yisrael Chai!
