Six Israeli hikers were injured in a bus accident in Thailand. The bus accident occurred in the Tak district, which is halfway between Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

Footage from the scene shows the bus being wrecked and objects thrown everywhere. One of the passengers said that the bus was traveling at top speed and hit a tree.

The Israelis were injured to varying degrees, including 4 PassportCard policyholders. Their condition is moderate and light and they were evacuated to hospital.

During the night, the PassportCard team handled their evacuation to nearby hospitals for initial treatment, and now they are being evacuated to a central hospital for hospitalization and extended medical treatment.

Last week, PassportCard representatives came to Thailand to accompany injured members of the company's policyholders, who were injured in the two bus accidents that occurred in Laos last week. At the time, a total of 13 Israeli hikers were injured in the accidents, with varying degrees of injury: light and moderate, and were evacuated to hospitals in Laos and Thailand.

The four injured who were hospitalized at Prince Hospital in the city of Ubon, Thailand, near the border with Laos, after being injured in the accident, were later flown to Israel accompanied by a medical team for further hospitalization and treatment in Israeli hospitals.
