Stubbornly Anti-Semitic
South Africa insists on continuing its lawsuit against Israel despite Trump's sanctions
South African Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola announced:"No chance" his country will withdraw from lawsuit it filed at International Criminal Court in The Hague against Israel.

South African Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola said in an interview with the Financial Times that despite the sanctions imposed by US President Donald Trump on the African country, there is "no chance" that it will withdraw from the lawsuit it filed against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
Lamola said, "Standing up for our principles can sometimes exact a price, but we remain steadfast in our position that it is important to the world and to the rule of law," according to Israel Hayom.
Against the backdrop of the sanctions, the minister stressed that South Africa is "ready to have a dialogue with them in order to convince them, if they are willing to be convinced," in relation to senior American officials.
Earlier this month, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that South Africa was "confiscating land and treating certain classes of people very poorly," and announced that he was cutting off all future funding to the country pending an investigation.
In a tweet on his social media, President Trump said: "South Africa confiscates land and treats certain types of people horribly. It's a bad situation that the radical left-wing media doesn't want to mention so much. A massive violation of human rights, at the very least, is taking place – the United States will not accept it."
South Africa stands behind the lawsuit against Israel in The Hague and is full of hostility toward Israel. It is as an anti-Semitic country that openly supports Hamas.
