As the U.S. military exhausts its critical air defense interceptor stockpiles in the ongoing conflict with Iran, defense analysts are pushing for an urgent strategic pivot: deploying Israeli missile defense technology to Ukraine and NATO allies to fill a gaping vulnerability in Western defensive architecture.
The call comes as Pentagon inventory assessments reveal the U.S. has consumed nearly 80 percent of its THAAD interceptors and approximately half its Patriot reserves since February 28. JFeed reported this morning that the Center for Strategic and International Studies estimates fewer than 1,000 Patriot and approximately 250 THAAD interceptors remain in American reserves, with replenishment projected to require three or more years at current production rates of 20 missiles monthly.

That vulnerability has been compounded by the U.S. priority to reserve its own air defense stock for Middle Eastern operations, leaving Ukraine dependent on older, less capable systems.
