Avri Gilad Curses Non-Orthodox New York Jews on Air

Radio host Avri Gilad addressed preparations for the upcoming Sukkot holiday during his Wednesday broadcast on Radio 103FM, sharing what moved him on his way to the studio.

"Have you started building your sukkah yet?" Gilad asked listeners. "On my way here, the entire main street of Ramat Hasharon was blocked off. Municipal workers were sawing palm branches for s'chach, a moment of Israeli sanity in the midst of all this madness."

The veteran broadcaster then responded to a caller who raised the issue of American Jews and suggested that a Jewish leader should demand from Trump that any approval for a Palestinian state be conditioned on transferring additional territory to Israel elsewhere in the world.

Gilad cut him off sharply: "You're talking about the Jews in America? They chose Mamdani, what are you talking about? Except for the Orthodox and Chabad, of course. I'm talking to you about the disgusting ones, "yimach shmam", using a Hebrew curse meaning "may their name and memory be erased."

Later in the broadcast, Gilad addressed former Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman's proposal to allow the Jordanian army to manage Palestinian Authority territories. "After the Jordanian king's hate speech last night at the UN, that seems less relevant to me, but I don't know," Gilad said. He called on the public to suggest ideas for how Israel should be managed from a security perspective.

"Liberman and Yair Golan are revealing their dangerous intentions, as if they learned nothing from October 7th," Katz said. "Liberman, who sees himself as a candidate for prime minister in rotation, recently proposed withdrawing from Gaza unilaterally and handing Gaza and the Philadelphi smuggling corridor to the Egyptians. Now he's proposing to station a Jordanian army in Qalqilya, next to Route 6, and to hand over security and administrative control of all Areas A and B in Judea and Samaria to the Jordanians, when Jordan's declared policy is the establishment of a Palestinian state."

"Alongside him is his partner Yair Golan, the designated defense minister, who is preparing to assume the role and declares he will uproot 100,000 Jewish settlers from their homes immediately upon taking office," Katz added. "These are two proposals that connect to one dangerous policy: uprooting Jews from their homes, withdrawal, and entrusting our security to others on the path to establishing a Palestinian terror state in the heart of the land."

Katz continued, claiming that "we evacuated 40,000 residents from the refugee camps in northern Samaria, crushed the Iranian terror infrastructure that was built there, and the IDF controls the camps on a permanent basis. We reduced the volume of terror throughout Judea and Samaria by 80% to the lowest level ever, and established 104 new communities and 160 new farms."

Concluding his remarks, Katz warned that "a left-wing government, which will be dependent on the Arab parties and will advance these plans, will endanger the settlement enterprise and the security of Israeli citizens."
