Two Georgian nationals carrying forged Israeli passports and a third barred from entering Israel boarded a TUS Airways flight from Bologna before being removed, according to unverified reports circulating on social media. The incident raises questions about security screening procedures at European airports serving Israel-bound routes.
Open Source Intel, an unverified social media account, reported the passengers were removed from the flight. The account did not identify which authority detected the forged documents or at what stage the passengers were stopped. JFeed has not independently confirmed the report, and no official statement from Italian authorities, Israeli security services, or TUS Airways has been issued.
The incident follows heightened security concerns on Israel-bound flights after an Omani co-pilot attempted to crash a Flydubai aircraft earlier this month. Travelers on European routes to Israel may face additional screening delays as authorities review security protocols.
