Zangauker: Netanyahu unfit to lead

Speaking at the three-year mark of October 7th, Zangauker attacked the prime minister: The one who led to the failure is not fit to continue leading and is no longer authorized to make decisions on Israel's security

Einav Zangauker delivered a sharp speech against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a protest rally held in hostages' square in Tel Aviv, flanked by families of hostages and fallen soldiers holding photographs of their loved ones. In her remarks, she leveled harsh criticism at the leadership's conduct and the handling of events that led to the October 7th failure.

During the speech, Zangauker stated that the prime minister chose to ignore early and repeated warnings placed before him on the eve of the disaster. Among other things, she listed alerts that came from senior Israeli security officials, including the IDF Chief of Staff and the head of the Shin Bet, alongside appeals and warnings that arrived from countries in the region, such as Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

Continuing her remarks, Zangauker accused Netanyahu of attempting to shirk his direct responsibility for the events by running campaigns and fear tactics against the public. She called on the public not to allow fear to obscure the facts, and not to remove the October 7th failure from the agenda.

Concluding her speech, Zangauker emphasized that the one who was at the helm during the disaster and led to the failure is not fit to continue leading, and is no longer authorized to make decisions on the security of the State of Israel.
