A wildfire broke out Monday near Yesodot, a haredi community in central Israel, prompting a major firefighting response as flames threatened nearby agricultural areas. What began as a brush fire quickly expanded due to weather conditions, reaching beehives and orchards adjacent to the town.
Seventeen firefighting teams from the Rehovot station, reinforced by units from other districts, are operating across multiple sectors to contain the blaze and protect the surrounding area.
