Radman Warns Kahlon Against Rejoining Likud

Radman sharply criticized Prime Minister Netanyahu and urged former Finance Minister Kahlon not to accept a reserved spot on the Likud list

Former Likud member Moshe Radman

Former Likud member Moshe Radman on Thursday addressed reports that former Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon is considering a return to the Likud party through a reserved slot on the party's Knesset list. In his remarks, Radman launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and cautioned Kahlon against joining the slate.

Radman wrote that he has been hearing increasingly strong rumors that Kahlon is weighing a return to Likud with a guaranteed spot, describing this as part of what he called Netanyahu's attempt to present the party list as renewed. He referred to Netanyahu as "the fraudulent liar."

Addressing Kahlon directly, Radman expressed hope that the former minister is not seriously considering such a move: "I very much hope for his sake that he is not considering this, because he will not forgive himself until his last days if he joins such a heartless den of scoffers."

Radman continued his offensive against Netanyahu and senior government officials, arguing that adding new faces to the Likud list would not change the criticism directed at them. According to Radman, there can be no atonement for failures and abandonment such as the October 7th attack, the abandonment of hostages, the abandonment of the north, the deepening of social divisions, the politicization of the security establishment, the attempt to dismantle democracy, the dismissal of the cost of living crisis, and turning everything into cheap and contemptible politics.

He argued that even if Netanyahu reserves a spot on the list for a well-known public figure, it cannot alter the fundamental picture. "There is no atonement and even reserving a spot for Mother Teresa won't help," he wrote.

Radman concluded with another attack on the prime minister and senior government officials, stating that Netanyahu and all the other senior officials who were partners in what he called the historical crime against the people of Israel in recent years are completely disqualified, and no sacrificial lamb will change that.
