Gaza Man Shows Gold Trading From Tent

Video circulating on social media shows elaborate trading station with multiple devices and live market feeds, raising questions about conditions in the coastal enclave

Gaza Resident Displays Gold Trading Setup From Tent Near Ruins

An unusual video circulating on social media platforms presents a complex picture from inside the Gaza Strip. While the prevailing narrative describes Gaza as experiencing total destruction, with no electricity, no internet access, and widespread hunger, the footage suggests a more varied reality on the ground.

The video centers on an elaborate "gold trading desk" set up inside a tent positioned near rubble and destroyed buildings. The setup includes sophisticated technology: six mobile phones, two laptop computers, and a professional ring light for filming. The illuminated screens display live trading charts tracking gold prices against the U.S. dollar.

In the accompanying footage, the person filming proudly presents what he calls his "modest trading station." Speaking enthusiastically to his audience, he describes the view as "the most beautiful scenery in the world" and declares he is offering "the strongest deal in the world."

The speaker explains that the operation uses phones belonging to "our entire neighborhood" and boasts that they have "restarted the market" and "burned through the market", apparently trading slang for aggressive activity. He concludes by calling on viewers to join his financial venture: "What are you waiting for? Come with us," directing them to a link in his bio that promises "ready and secure deals."
