IDF launches counterterrorism operation in Hebron area after shooting attack

IDF soldiers, ISA, Israel Border Police, and Judea District personnel launched a counterterrorism operation in the Hebron area in response to the shooting attack that killed two soldiers and wounded several others. Forces are conducting targeted searches to locate terrorist infrastructure and weapons while questioning suspects. The operation is focused on the area from which the terrorists emerged and is expected to continue for several days. Residents can leave through three designated exit points following security screening. Security forces are also demolishing illegal structures that pose security threats and conducting counterterrorism operations at dozens of locations throughout Judea and Samaria.
