Iran threatens regional AI companies and data centers in Persian Gulf

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf announced plans for a "Persian Gulf Data Authority" and warned regional governments, investment funds, and companies against supporting AI firms allegedly involved in military operations. Ghalibaf stated no finance, equity, land, or energy should be provided to such companies. He issued a direct threat: "Assist them and face our enforcement."
