Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a direct appeal to right-wing voters today on his Facebook account, framing the upcoming 2026 elections as a binary choice between a right-wing government and what he called a path to a Palestinian state.
"These days I am crisscrossing the country, meeting you and listening to you," Netanyahu wrote. "At every meeting I feel your great love for the state, your concern for its future and your desire to see it strong, secure and prosperous. You give me strength, and I am determined to continue working for you."
The prime minister sharpened his core campaign message, defining the race in stark terms: "These elections are fateful for our future: it's either right - or Palestine. It's either our strong right-wing government or a left-wing government of Eisenkot with the Arab parties, Yair Golan, Liberman and Bennett."
Netanyahu also pointed to the window of opportunity with the administration in Washington, noting that "we have two more years left in the term of my friend President Trump and that is exactly the time to complete our great missions on all fronts."
