Senior Saudi officials speaking with the Saudi media outlet Al Arabiya have reported intensifying Israeli pressure on Lebanese militants and their Iranian advisers who remain besieged beneath the Ali Taher ridge, inside Hezbollah's underground fortress at the site.
According to the Saudi reports, Israel has recently escalated operations in the area targeting the facility, conducting systematic strikes against its infrastructure. The sources indicate that Israeli forces have begun dismantling extensive Hezbollah infrastructure throughout the ridge area, including systems that directly support the militants trapped underground, such as water and electricity lines.
Lebanese reports similarly describe heightened Israeli activity against the complex. Israel has reportedly informed both the United States and Lebanon that it will not accept the continued existence of the facility, which serves as a strategic Hezbollah installation and is also used by Iran's Revolutionary Guards for operations against Israel.
