Judge in Netanyahu trial questions prosecution's attempt to limit Mandelblit testimony scope

During former Attorney General Mandelblit's testimony in Netanyahu's trial, a dispute arose over the scope of questioning. Netanyahu's defense sought to question Mandelblit about investigative actions taken after authorizations were granted, which the prosecution strongly opposed. Judge Bar-Am pushed back, stating "Here, the door has already been opened. He testified, and we heard things that seemingly require a more thorough examination." When prosecutor Tirosh argued the court should limit questioning to what is "absolutely necessary," Bar-Am responded: "How can we ignore the fact that the Attorney General came here and testified about illegal actions?!"
