Mudryk cleared to return to football as four-year ban rescinded
Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk has been officially cleared to return to football immediately after a four-year ban imposed on him was rescinded. The Ukrainian winger, who has been unable to play since November 2024, released an emotional statement confirming the conclusion of his case. "I have never knowingly or intentionally taken any banned substance," Mudryk stated, adding that this has been "the most difficult period of my career." He thanked Chelsea FC, his teammates, supporters, and his legal team for their support throughout the process. Mudryk said his focus is now on "returning to football, working hard every day, and making a positive contribution on the pitch."
