Iran, the target of the US-Israeli offensive, will host top security officials from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey on Monday. Ali Bagheri Kani, deputy secretary of Iran's top security body, announced on state television that they would come to Tehran for consultations on regional security with the Supreme National Security Council.

The delegation is made up of Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Pakistani army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin.

Pakistan has also been relaying messages between Tehran and Washington. On Saturday, Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, said Iran had informed Pakistani mediators that it would reopen the Strait of Hormuz if the United States lifted its blockade of Iranian ports, the Associated Press reported.

The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency rejected a report by Al Arabiya that Tehran had passed a new offer through Pakistan. Tasnim's denial targeted the Al Arabiya report and did not address the ambassador's remarks.
