A suspected security incident at Kibbutz Kisufim, located in the Gaza envelope region of southern Israel, was declared a false alarm after initial concerns about a possible infiltration. Security forces discovered a breach in the perimeter fence surrounding the area and instructed residents to lock down in their homes as a precautionary measure while searches were conducted.
According to subsequent reports, the security concern was ruled out and normal activity resumed. The incident appears to have been criminal in nature, involving a deliberate cut in the fence, but not part of an infiltration attempt. Trackers who conducted sweeps of the area determined that no security threat existed.
