Sen. Ted Cruz acknowledges Texas flipped to Democrats in governor and Senate races

Sen. Ted Cruz stated on his podcast that Texas has elected both a Democratic governor and senator, marking the first time the state has had a Democratic governor since 1994 and a Democratic senator since 1993. "For weeks, I had been publicly warning on this podcast that we were in very real danger of losing everything in Texas. Far too few believed that was possible. I am very, very sorry that it came to pass," Cruz said. Texas will now have both positions held by Democrats.
