Tulkarm governor says Israeli force prevents Palestinian protest marches

Tulkarm Governor Abdallah Kamil, responding to a question about organizing quiet marches near refugee camps in northern Samaria, stated that "there's madness among the Israelis" and expressed doubt that Israel would treat such marches peacefully. "When I call to hold a march, I want it to pass without casualties. The question is whether Israel will treat it as a quiet march and act toward it peacefully. Certainly not," he said, adding that past marches "were suppressed by force."
