In an act of profound courage and selflessness, the family of Sarah Mendelson, a victim of yesterday's brutal terror attack in Jerusalem, has decided to donate her organs. The decision comes after Mendelson, 28, was one of six innocent people murdered when two Palestinian terrorists opened fire on civilians at a bus stop in the city's Ramot neighborhood.
The attack, which also left dozens wounded, has sent a wave of grief and shock throughout the nation. Yet, from this unspeakable tragedy, the Mendelson family has chosen to create a legacy of life. Their decision ensures that Sarah's memory will live on by offering a second chance to those in desperate need of a transplant.
