In an extraordinary and exclusive interview with the "Akhbar Kikar" program, Hamid Matrash, head of the Ahwazi Party in Iran, launched a searing attack on the "Axis of Evil" in Tehran and Lebanon. Matrash, a prominent voice for the persecuted Arab-Ahwazi minority in Iran, surprised viewers by drawing deep parallels between Israel’s current struggle and Jewish biblical history.
"The Modern-Day Amalek"
Speaking with Moshe Aryeh and Haim Segev, Matrash expressed fierce support for Israel’s military campaign against the Iranian regime. "I always see Netanyahu as Moses fighting Amalek," Matrash declared. "Today, Netanyahu is fighting the modern Amalek - the one sitting in the palace in Tehran."
Matrash, who has witnessed decades of Iranian oppression firsthand, praised the Israeli leadership’s resolve. "Thanks to Israel and free people, we are seeing a true struggle against the forces of evil," he added.
"Party of Satan"
The Ahwazi leader did not mince words when discussing Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed terror group in Lebanon. "Do not call them Hezbollah (The Party of God)," Matrash asserted. "They are 'Hezb al-Shaitan'-The Party of Satan. They are part of the evil operating against the entire region."
A Call for Arab-Israeli Unity
Matrash concluded with a direct appeal to moderate Arab nations and a surprising message of kinship with the Jewish state:
- To Arab Nations: He urged them to "wake up" and support the Ahwazi cause to ensure their own national security.
- To Israel: In a historic gesture of solidarity, he stated, "We are an inseparable part of you. We see ourselves as a second Jewish state in terms of our shared fate."
