Journalist Barak Seri responded to reports that Prime Minister Netanyahu has decided to go after Ofer Winter's party until the elections, delivering a sharp rebuke to the prime minister.

"Just so you know: in Likud they're busy with the question of whether to go after Winter hard, take him down strongly, or allow him to pass the electoral threshold out of fear of losing votes," Seri wrote.

"Hello, Likud is polling at between 19 and 20 seats. It has lost 12, 13 mandates from its strength. So maybe before Netanyahu decides whether to raise or lower parties, let's see him first, big hero, take care of his own Likud."

He also addressed a report by Moran Azoulay that Likud confirmed Netanyahu held a reassurance call with Itamar Ben Gvir and Tally Gotliv, clarifying that the next government will be formed on the basis of the current government and its guidelines, without bringing in a party from the opposition bloc in their place.

He wrote: "And you believe him that he wants to form 'a broad national government'? If he wins, and he's very far from victory, it will be exactly the same coalition, the same government and the same extremism."
